ਗ੍ਰਾਫਿਕਲ ਯੂਜ਼ਰ ਇੰਟਰਫੇਸ ਇਕ ਯੂਜ਼ਰ ਇੰਟਰਫੇਸ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਯੂਜ਼ਰ ਨੂੰ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਸਿਸਟਮ ਨਾਲ ਮੀਨੂੰ , ਡਾਇਲਾਗ ਬਾਕਸ ਅਤੇ ਗ੍ਰਾਫਿਕਲ ਚਿਤਰਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਜੁੜਨ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜਤ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਆਈਕਨਸ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। 

ਇਸ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਕਮਾਂਡ ਸਿੱਖਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਆਕਰਸ਼ਕ ਹੈ। 

ਵਿੰਡੋਜ਼ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਇਨਕਸ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਜ਼ੀ.ਯੂ.ਆਈ. ਅਧਾਰਿਤ ਓਪਰੇਟਿੰਗ ਸਿਸਟਮ ਹਨ।

"Graphical User Interface" is a user interface which allows the user to interact (connect) with Computer System through menu, dialog boxes and graphical figures called ICONS.

You do not have to learn any command to use it and it is very appealing and attractive.

Windows and Linux are the most popular GUI operating systems.

Examples of GUI applications: ATM, Smart Phones, Audio/Video recorder etc.

In January 1983, the Apple Lisa was released by the Apple Company; it was one of the first desktop computers with a Graphical User Interface (GUI) and a Mouse.
