ਅੱਜ ਕੱਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਫੋਂਟ ਮਿਲਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਅਸੀਂ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਚ ਟਾਈਪਿੰਗ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ , ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਅਨਮੋਲਲਿਪੀ, ਅਸੀਸ, ਜੋਆਏ , ਰਾਵੀ, ਗੁਰਮੁੱਖੀ ਆਦਿ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹਨ।
ਪਰ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਫੋਂਟ ਅਨਮੋਲਲਿਪੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵਿਚ ਬੜੀ ਆਸਾਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਟਾਈਪਿੰਗ ਸਿੱਖ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ।
ਜਦੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਅਨਮੋਲਲਿਪੀ ਨਾਲ ਟਾਈਪ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਕੀ-ਬੋਰਡ ਤੇ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਅੱਖਰ ਹੀ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਲਿੱਖ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਚ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਕੀ-ਬੋਰਡ ਦੇ ਇਕ ਬਟਨ ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਦੇ 2 ਅੱਖਰ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਟਨ ਦੇ ਉਪਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਅੱਖਰ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਖਣ ਲਈ ਕੀ-ਬੋਰਡ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਿਫਟ ਕੀਅ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਕਰਨੀ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਉਦਾਹਰਨ ਲਈ "ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ" ਨੂੰ ਟਾਈਪ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੀ-ਬੋਰਡ ਤੋਂ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਵਿਚ "ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ" ਟਾਈਪ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ।

ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਫੋਂਟ ਅਨਮੋਲਲਿਪੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਈ ਕਿਸਮਾਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਵੇ ਕਿ ਅਨਮੋਲਲਿਪੀ , ਅਨਮੋਲ ਕਲਮੀ, ਅਨਮੋਲ ਲਿਪੀ ਬੋਲਡ, ਅਨਮੋਲ ਲਿਪੀ ਹੈਵੀ, ਅਨਮੋਲ ਲਿਪੀ ਲਾਈਟ, ਅਨਮੋਲ ਲਿਪੀ ਸਲਿਮ, ਅਨਮੋਲ ਲਿਪੀ ਮੋਟੀ, ਅਨਮੋਲ ਲਿਪੀ ਮੋਟੀ ਟਾਈਟ, ਅਨਮੋਲ ਨੀਓਨ, ਅਨਮੋਲ ਉਠਿਆ, ਅਨਮੋਲ ਉਭਰੀ ਆਦਿ।
Ther are many fonts available today that allow us to type in Punjabi on a Computer, including AnmolLipi, Asess, Ravi, Joy and Gurmukhi. But the most used Punjabi font is AnmolLiip. In this we can easily learn Punjabi Typing.
When we write with AnmolLipi, there are only English letters on the Keyboard but the writing is in Punjabi. One buttong on the keyboard has 2 Punjabi letters and to type the letter above the button you have to presss shift key from the keyboard.
For example, to type "" you have to type "kMipaUtr" from keyboard into English.

The most used Punjabi font is AnmolLipi. Anmol Kalmi, Anmol Lipi Bold, Anmol Lipi Heavy, Anmol Lipi Light, Anmol Lipi Slim, Anmol Lipi Think, Anmol Lipi Thick Tight, Anmol Neon, Anmol Raised, Anmol Ubhri etc. are the various variants of AnmolLipi.
